Privacy Policy for Clipr
Clipr ("Clipr," "we," "us," or "our") is a software-as-a-service platform that helps users import livestream VODs, generate short-form clips, edit or enhance those clips, and publish them to social media accounts connected by the user.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, username, password, company name, profile information, billing information, and other information you provide.
VODs, Videos, Clips, and Uploaded Content
When you use Clipr, you may upload, import, or connect video content, including livestream VODs, audio, captions, transcripts, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, chat logs, metadata, and generated clips.
This content may include your image, voice, likeness, usernames, chat messages, or other personal information contained in the original video or livestream.
Social Media Account Information
If you connect a social media account, we may collect information needed to provide the Service, such as:
- Account ID, username, profile name, profile image, channels, pages, or connected destinations.
- Access tokens or authorization credentials.
- Posting permissions granted by you.
- Published post metadata, such as captions, links, IDs, status, engagement data, and upload results.
We only use connected social accounts to provide the actions you authorize, such as publishing clips, retrieving account destinations, or showing posting status.
Usage and Analytics Information
We may collect information about how you use Clipr, including login activity, pages viewed, buttons clicked, processing history, generated clips, posting activity, errors, device information, browser type, IP address, and approximate location.
Payment Information
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We may receive limited billing information such as plan type, subscription status, payment confirmation, invoice details, and the last four digits of a payment card. We do not store full credit card numbers unless explicitly stated by our payment provider.
Communications
If you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, message content, support requests, and related communications.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve Clipr.
- Import, process, analyze, edit, and generate clips from VODs.
- Generate captions, titles, descriptions, summaries, thumbnails, and other content.
- Publish clips to social media accounts you connect.
- Authenticate users and protect accounts.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Provide support and respond to requests.
- Monitor performance, detect bugs, and improve the Service.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, spam, unauthorized access, or misuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. AI and Automated Processing
Clipr may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, transcription, video analysis, or automation technologies to identify highlights, generate clips, create captions, suggest titles, summarize content, or optimize content for social media.
Your videos, audio, transcripts, captions, metadata, and related content may be processed by Clipr or by trusted third-party service providers that help us provide these features.
We do not claim ownership of your uploaded VODs or generated clips. You remain responsible for making sure you have the rights, permissions, and consents needed to upload, process, edit, and publish the content you use with Clipr.
4. Linked Social Media Accounts
When you connect a social media account, you authorize Clipr to access and use that account only as needed to provide the Service.
Depending on the permissions you grant, Clipr may be able to:
- View connected account information.
- Display available pages, channels, or profiles.
- Upload or publish videos.
- Add captions, titles, descriptions, hashtags, or thumbnails.
- Retrieve publishing status or performance information.
You can disconnect your social media accounts at any time from your Clipr account settings or directly through the relevant social media platform.
After you disconnect a social media account, Clipr will stop using its access token. Some previously published content may remain available on the social media platform unless you delete it directly from that platform.
5. How We Share Information
Service Providers
We may share information with vendors who help us operate Clipr, including cloud hosting providers, video processing services, AI providers, analytics providers, payment processors, email providers, customer support tools, and security services.
Social Media Platforms
When you choose to publish clips, we share the necessary content and metadata with the social media platforms you selected.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, court order, government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud or abuse.
Business Transfers
If Clipr is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide Clipr, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and maintain business records.
Uploaded VODs, generated clips, transcripts, captions, and related files may be stored until you delete them, your account is deleted, or they are removed according to your plan limits or our retention settings.
Social media access tokens are retained only while your account remains connected, unless earlier removed or revoked.
Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your account or personal information.
- Request a copy of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Disconnect social media accounts.
- Opt out of certain data uses, where applicable.

8. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Clipr account by contacting us at bob.lozano@arbatech.io.
When your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, billing, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes.
Deleting your Clipr account does not automatically delete content already published to third-party social media platforms. You must delete that content directly from those platforms.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information transmitted or stored through Clipr will be completely protected.
10. International Data Transfers
Clipr may process and store information in countries other than your own. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your location.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

Clipr is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Third-Party Platforms and Links
Clipr may integrate with third-party platforms such as social media networks, cloud storage providers, payment processors, or analytics services.
Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms.
13. User Content Responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you upload, import, process, generate, or publish using Clipr.
This includes making sure you have the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and consents for any video, audio, music, image, voice, likeness, username, chat message, or other content included in your VODs or clips.
